Calendula flavors range from spicy to bitter, tangy to peppery. Their sharp taste resembles saffron (also known as Poor Mans Saffron). Sprinkle the petals on soups, pasta or rice dishes, herb butters and salads. Petals add a yellow tint to soups, spreads and scrambled eggs.

Care Instructions
Cut stems diagonally approximately a half an inch from bottom under running water with sharp scissors. After cutting, place the stems in the prepared water. Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. Change water every 24 hours to keep flowers fresh.
